Shipping Policy

Why Knot Balloons is based in Bayswater, Western Australia. Most uninflated balloons and party supplies can be posted Australia-wide. Ready-to-go pieces and made-to-order balloon products are available for Perth pickup or selected local delivery only.

Australia-Wide Postage

Uninflated balloons, DIY balloon kits, party decorations and accessories can be posted Australia-wide.

  • Orders under AU$159: flat-rate postage of AU$15

  • Orders of AU$159 or more: free postage

Balloons sent by post arrive uninflated unless the product listing states otherwise.

Estimated Australia Post Parcel Post delivery times after dispatch are:

  • Within Western Australia: 2–4 business days

  • Interstate: 3–6 business days

These estimates do not include preparation time and may be affected by location, seasonal demand, public holidays or carrier delays.

Tracking details will be provided after dispatch where the selected service includes tracking.

Preparation Times

  • Custom, ready-to-go and made-to-order products require 3–5 business days for preparation.

  • Express preparation may be available for an additional fee. Please contact us before ordering.

  • In-stock products that do not require preparation and are ordered before 12 pm may be available for same-day pickup or local delivery, subject to stock and delivery availability.

  • Orders placed after 12 pm will generally be available from the next available business day.

Please wait for confirmation before travelling to collect an order.

Perth Local Pickup

Local pickup from Bayswater, WA 6053 is free and available by appointment.

Please wait until you receive confirmation that your order is ready. The full pickup address and agreed collection time will be provided after confirmation.

Ready-to-go and fully inflated balloon products should be transported carefully in a suitable vehicle and kept away from heat and sharp objects.

Perth Local Delivery

Selected local delivery is available from our Bayswater location:

  • Within 0–15 km: minimum order AU$50; delivery fee AU$20

  • Within 15–30 km: minimum order AU$120; delivery fee AU$35

For addresses outside these areas, please contact us before ordering to confirm availability and the applicable fee.

Products available for Australia-wide postage may also be collected or delivered locally, subject to availability and the conditions above.

Orders for a Specific Event Date

We recommend ordering early if you need your products for a particular event.

Please contact us before ordering if:

  • Your event date is approaching

  • You are unsure whether your order will arrive in time

  • You require express preparation or postage

  • Your order includes a custom or made-to-order product

Delivery and pickup dates are not guaranteed unless confirmed by us.

International Shipping

International shipping may be available for selected products. Please contact us before ordering so we can confirm availability, estimated postage costs and any destination restrictions.

Delivery Problems

If your order arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at whyknotballoons@hotmail.com.

Please include your order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs where possible.
